The Paid Search and Social Media Assistant at iNvolved Media plays a crucial role in supporting the paid social and search media buyers in various aspects of campaign management. This position is hybrid, catering to candidates in the NYC Metropolitan area, and is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the digital media landscape. The assistant will be involved in ad trafficking, campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, and billing, ensuring that all aspects of the campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively. As part of the platform operations team, the assistant will support key projects and campaigns across assigned channels and accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for new technology and media channels, demonstrating the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with a team of innovative media professionals, providing exposure to the latest technology, measurement, and media solutions that can be offered to clients. The assistant will be responsible for supporting the digital team in all aspects of paid media campaign management and ad optimization. This includes gathering creative assets, providing guidance on creative development, identifying targeting opportunities, assisting in campaign setup, and ensuring timely optimizations. The role also involves analyzing campaign performance and building custom reports to align with clients' key performance indicators. Overall, this position is integral to the success of the digital media team and the satisfaction of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the paid social and search media buyers in ad trafficking, campaign setup, and monitoring.
  • Support client communication related to campaign planning, execution, and analytics across platforms.
  • Manage all aspects of paid media campaign management and ad optimization.
  • Gather creative assets and tracking instructions for pre-campaign responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance on creative development, specifications, and best practices.
  • Identify targeting and platform opportunities based on brand parameters and key performance indicators.
  • Assist in campaign setup and launch, ensuring accuracy in ad tags, budgets, targeting, and creative.
  • Ensure creatives are approved before the campaign launch date as appropriate.
  • Monitor campaign performance and conduct regular quality assurance checks.
  • Coordinate campaign reporting, analyzing overall performance and building custom reporting strategies.
  • Provide ongoing campaign insights based on analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience or internship is preferred, but not required.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Facebook Business Manager, Ads Manager, Snap Ads, Twitter Ads platform, TikTok, YouTube, and Google AdWords is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager.
  • Familiarity with Snap Ads and TikTok advertising platforms.
