About the position

The Paid Search Media Manager at Papa Murphy's is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive national paid search strategies to meet business goals and KPIs. This role involves managing day-to-day operations of Google paid search campaigns, optimizing campaigns for ROI, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies. The position emphasizes A/B testing, creative optimization, and driving sales performance while staying updated on industry trends and innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national paid search strategies and plans to meet business goals and KPIs.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Google paid search campaigns, including account setup, keyword research, ad creation, and bidding strategies.
  • Conduct audience research and geo-targeting for effective campaign configuration and implementation.
  • Allocate and manage the paid search media budget to ensure optimal spend and maximum results.
  • Provide proactive updates and create detailed reports to identify opportunity areas for campaign improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies across channels.
  • Monitor Google/industry trends and emerging platforms to enhance campaign performance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with Google for the company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in paid search advertising, with at least 2 years in a strategic role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful Google paid search, PMAX, and demand gen campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data for data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with multi-location franchise businesses.
  • Experience with visit-tracking.
  • Experience with Bing Ads.
  • Familiarity with third-party management platforms (i.e., Kenshoo, Google Search Ads 360).
  • Advanced certifications in Google Ads, paid search advertising, or digital marketing.
