About the position

The Paid Social Media Buyer is responsible for managing and optimizing social media advertising campaigns to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive business objectives. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively manage a brand's presence across various social media platforms. The position is integral to developing strategies, creating compelling ad content, and analyzing campaign performance to ensure maximum return on investment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing paid social media strategies tailored to business goals, target audience, and budget.
  • Identifying the right platforms and ad formats to achieve objectives.
  • Creating compelling ad copy, visuals, and multimedia content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Collaborating with designers and copywriters to produce effective ad creatives.
  • Setting up and refining audience targeting options to reach relevant users.
  • Launching, managing, and optimizing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Allocating and managing ad spend efficiently across different social platforms and campaigns.
  • Tracking and analyzing campaign performance metrics and creating detailed reports.
  • Running A/B tests on various campaign elements to determine optimal performance.
  • Setting up and managing tracking pixels and other conversion tracking methods.
  • Staying updated on the latest paid advertising trends and platform updates.
  • Working closely with marketing teams and communicating with clients about campaign progress.
  • Monitoring competitors' paid advertising efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, digital media, communications, advertising, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience managing paid social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using social media advertising platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Twitter Ads.
  • Strong ability to define and refine audience segments based on demographics and interests.
  • Experience in creating ad copy and collaborating with creative teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret social media analytics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in social media advertising or digital marketing such as Facebook Blueprint Certification or Google Ads Certification.
  • Experience with audience targeting and optimization for social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and multivariate testing for campaign optimization.
