About the position

The Paid Social Media Buyer plays a crucial role in the performance media team by executing paid social media strategies that align with client business goals. This position involves creating, activating, and reviewing cross-platform paid social programs, managing ad placements, optimizing campaigns, and preparing reports to ensure effective communication of results and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Build, QA and launch paid social campaigns across platforms.
  • Allocate budget and bidding across platforms.
  • Analyze campaign data to provide optimization recommendations and implement those optimizations in-platform.
  • Provide audience recommendations based on campaign parameters such as 1st Party, 3rd Party, custom audiences, LAL, Interests, and Behaviors.
  • Test and recommend new platform features.
  • Create effective tactics and recommendations based on client and team briefs/instructions.
  • Proofread all communications, decks, and reports to ensure information accuracy.
  • Maintain client brand guidelines and copy standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines through effective time management skills.
  • Assist with process paperwork including copy documents, documentation of social communications, IATBs, invoicing, and billing.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on top-level KPIs.
  • Participate in client calls and meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Business.
  • 2+ years' experience in Paid Social Media Buying, with hands-on experience in Meta, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snap ad accounts.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook, with the ability to learn new tools and software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Strong awareness of the latest social media developments, online behaviors, and trends.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with individuals at all levels of an organization.
