About the position

The Paid Social Media Manager at Papa Murphy's is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive paid social media strategies to achieve company objectives such as reach, engagement, customer acquisition, and retention. This role involves managing day-to-day paid social campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, optimizing budget allocation, and providing strategic guidance to local teams. The position emphasizes A/B testing, creative optimization, and collaboration with internal teams to enhance campaign performance and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies.
  • Plan, implement, and manage day-to-day paid social campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Conduct audience research and geo-targeting for campaigns.
  • Manage and allocate the paid social media budget for optimal spend.
  • Support local teams with strategic guidance as needed.
  • Innovate and suggest creative ways to enhance campaign performance.
  • Provide real-time updates and create detailed reports on paid campaigns.
  • Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and brand teams for production needs.
  • Work with other paid media team members to execute successful campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in social media advertising, with at least 2 years in a planning role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Proficient in Facebook Ads Manager and familiar with Facebook Business Manager.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data interpretation and reporting.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and a self-starter.
  • Comfortable working in Excel and manipulating data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with 1p Data platforms, Google Analytics, Google Ads (paid search & YouTube), display/programmatic/CTV.
  • Advanced certifications in social media advertising or digital marketing.
