About the position

The Paid Social Media Manager at Ideal Image is responsible for the day-to-day management of paid social campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. This role focuses on driving online traffic and revenue to the company's website, optimizing campaign performance, and providing actionable recommendations based on data analysis. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Growth Lead, contributing to the overall strategy and execution of social media initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns across various platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Manage campaign budgets and adjust as needed to ensure that campaigns are meeting performance goals.
  • Create compelling ad copy and targeting strategies to reach the desired audience.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance throughout the day, using data to make recommendations for optimization and improvements on the fly.
  • Work with the growth team to identify goals, priorities, and efficiency requirements, improving Social's contribution to business success.
  • Actively work to increase revenue for existing social accounts and propose opportunities to expand social coverage.
  • Stay up to date with the latest paid social media trends and best practices, and implement these in campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as promotions, creative, and content, to create cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Provide daily updates on campaign performance and ROI to key stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention across all digital channels.
  • Continually work to learn new strategies, test new platforms, and expand.
  • Responsible for designing and deploying tests on a monthly and quarterly cadence (structural, targeting, creative & messaging, conversion, etc.).
  • Responsible for continual testing, verification, and improvement of full-funnel structures.
  • Collect, track, and analyze media data to optimize paid social media practices for Ideal Image.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BA/BS preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in paid social media management.
  • Experience managing direct response paid media campaigns for a business-to-consumer brand.
  • Deep knowledge of platform-specific algorithms, creative testing, and ad optimizations.
  • Experience managing monthly paid social budgets and optimizing campaigns for ROI.
  • Analytically minded, with a proven history of analyzing campaigns through to conversion and revenue.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in multiple platforms, primarily Facebook and Instagram; experience in TikTok and Pinterest is also preferred.
  • An eye for detail with an ability to recognize trends and patterns in data that can be used to make a clear and compelling business case for direction of strategy.
  • Passion for advertising industry developments in tech and data.
