About the position

The Paid Social Media Marketing Manager at Equinix is responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies aimed at driving customer acquisition, content engagement, and upselling. This role focuses on managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, and YouTube, while also leveraging additional paid channels. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to analyze outcomes, drive actionable insights, and improve campaign effectiveness, contributing to the overall marketing objectives of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and analytics teams to align campaign objectives and messaging.
  • Communicate campaign plans and performance updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Utilize project management tools to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns effectively.
  • Build and manage relationships with external media vendors and agencies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and provide recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform campaign planning and execution.
  • Create compelling ad copy, visuals, and landing pages to maximize campaign performance.
  • Measure and report on campaign performance, providing insights and updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 4 years of direct experience in paid social media management.
  • 6 years of combined experience in related fields such as paid media, social media, media analytics, ad optimization, or digital analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and gather actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Learning, and Demandbase ABM certifications.
  • Experience within agencies or enterprise B2B companies with extended sales funnel scenarios.
