About the position

The Paid Social Media Manager at Papa Murphy's is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive paid social media strategies to achieve company objectives such as reach, engagement, customer acquisition, and retention. This role involves managing day-to-day paid social campaigns, optimizing budget allocation, and providing strategic guidance to local teams. The manager will also innovate campaign performance, monitor social media trends, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of paid media campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Plan, implement, and manage day-to-day paid social campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
  • Conduct audience research, geo-targeting, and best-practice campaign configuration.
  • Manage and allocate the paid social media budget for optimal spend and results.
  • Support local teams with strategic guidance as needed.
  • Innovate and suggest creative enhancements for campaign performance.
  • Provide real-time updates and detailed reports on paid campaigns, identifying opportunity areas.
  • Emphasize A/B testing, creative optimization, and driving sales performance.
  • Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and brand teams to determine production needs and best practices.
  • Work with other paid media team members to cohesively plan and execute successful campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in social media advertising, with at least 2 years in a planning role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful social media campaigns across various platforms.
  • Proficient in Facebook Ads Manager and familiarity with Facebook Business Manager.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and a self-starter.
  • Comfortable working in Excel and manipulating data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with 1p Data platforms, Google Analytics, Google Ads (paid search & YouTube), display/programmatic/CTV.
  • Advanced certifications in social media advertising or digital marketing.
