About the position

The Chemical Process Engineering Intern position at CF Industries offers a unique opportunity for students enrolled in an accredited Chemical Engineering program to gain hands-on experience in a safety-sensitive environment. Interns will lead projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and support engineers in daily tasks while ensuring safety compliance and monitoring operational parameters. This role is designed to help interns grow and achieve their potential in the field of chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with diverse teams.
• Gather process information and perform engineering calculations.
• Present project results and recommendations.
• Assist Process and Reliability Engineers with daily tasks.
• Analyze trends and maintain turbine and compressor efficiencies.
• Track machine tribology data, cooling water surveys, catalyst surveys, DCS trends, and lab results.
• Initiate and follow up on MOC submittals.
• Organize Process Safety Information for technicians.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analyses.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited Chemical Engineering Program.
• Ability to make verbal and written presentations to communicate ideas.
