About the position

We are hiring individuals to train to become Licensed Medicare Sales and Enrollment Specialists. This position offers a unique opportunity to forge a lasting career in healthcare, with comprehensive training provided. The role involves answering incoming inquiries from prospective members and assisting them in selecting the right Medicare plan that fits their needs. The training period lasts between 9 to 12 weeks, during which you will work in our Longview office to learn about Medicare Advantage products and how to effectively assist Medicare-eligible consumers. After the training, you will enjoy a hybrid work environment, alternating between remote work and in-office collaboration with colleagues. This position is designed for those who are eager to learn and grow within the healthcare sector, with the potential to transition to a role with a Fortune 10 Healthcare company after gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming inquiries from prospective members regarding Medicare products.
  • Assist members in selecting the Medicare product that best suits their healthcare needs.
  • Follow up with existing members to address questions and review current or new products and services.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while maintaining active listening and engagement.
  • Assist in completing the enrollment application over the phone, ensuring compliance with product requirements and enrollment guidelines.
  • Meet established goals in performance, attendance, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
  • Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts with flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Previous sales experience or customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems.
  • Flexibility to customize communication approaches to meet various caller styles and personalities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare or insurance sales is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
