About the position

The Paint Prepper at Frazer is responsible for preparing aluminum bodies for paint applications, ensuring high-quality finishes through sanding, filling, and general body work. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while working in a structured environment. The Paint Prepper will collaborate with team members to meet production goals and uphold Frazer's core values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and cleaning.
• Fill holes, cracks, and joints with appropriate materials.
• Remove fixtures from exterior prior to painting.
• Tape and cover surfaces to protect them during painting.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality at work and meetings.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a related field or completion of a technical program.
• Experience in body work and tape/masking techniques.
• Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test.
• Ability to work in an un-air conditioned environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Documents, Drive, Spreadsheets).
