About the position

This position is responsible for overseeing the paint process within the Magna Exteriors portfolio, ensuring quality standards are met while fostering a positive and productive workplace. The role involves collaboration with various teams and suppliers to optimize paint application and performance, as well as participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required, or five years of work-related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Previous automotive finishing and robotic experience required.
• Experience with industrial control, computer technology, and programming is an asset.
• Technical ability in areas such as robot programming, maintenance activities, PLC programming, etc.
• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Must be computer literate on the Windows platform.
• Must pass Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Point Hue Test Annually.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project (or similar).
