The position of Commercial Paint Project Manager/Estimator is a pivotal role within a well-respected and established Commercial Paint Contractor located in Woodbridge, Virginia. This role is designed for an experienced professional who is not only adept in project management but also possesses a strong background in estimating commercial painting projects. The successful candidate will be part of a rapidly growing team of dedicated professionals, contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-quality painting services to general contractors and property managers. The ideal candidate will have a sales-minded approach, demonstrating leadership and the ability to manage a motivated team effectively. In this role, the Project Manager/Estimator will be responsible for promoting the company's services, particularly to general contractors and property managers. This includes bidding on commercial and light industrial painting projects that exceed $500K. The candidate will provide leadership to project teams, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. A hands-on approach is essential, as the candidate will be expected to lead by example and be a reliable resource for their team. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Paint Estimator, with specific experience in commercial painting being a must. The candidate should be proficient in Planswift or equivalent software, and possess the ability to understand and present the company's products and services effectively.
