About the position
We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Interior/Exterior Painters for both residential and commercial projects in Kansas City, MO. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $24, depending on experience and skill level. The ideal candidates will be fit and able to perform the physical demands of the job, as the role involves various tasks related to painting and surface preparation. No prior experience is necessary, as we are committed to providing comprehensive training to ensure that all team members are equipped with the skills needed to succeed in this role. We are looking for individuals who are interested in long-term employment and are eager to build a career in the painting industry. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, with a maximum of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Kansas City, MO, before starting work. This position requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities
- Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all painting tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while on the job.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must be fit and able to perform physical tasks associated with painting.
- Willingness to learn and receive training in painting techniques and safety practices.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in industrial painting is a plus but not required.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not mandatory.
