About The Position

The Painter position is responsible for painting and cleaning various industrial parts, ensuring they are prepared and secured for transportation and painting processes. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to company policies, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs is required.
• Ability to wear respirator and/or other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
• Self-motivated, possessing the ability to work with limited supervision required.
• Strong work ethic and attendance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy.
• Maintain a good attendance record and uphold the highest level of professional conduct.
• Ensure parts are clean and ready for paint.
• Prepare and secure parts for transportation throughout the shop area.
• Rig and set up parts securely on stands or in parts washer for cleaning and painting.
• Use tools, pressure washer, and chemical tank to prep parts.
• Operate material-handling equipment to move parts to different staging areas and set up various stands.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the paint area.
• Demonstrate an aptitude to learn and grow within the department and shop.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
