Responsibilities
- Paint, stain & varnish using brushes/rollers
- Clean, sand, sandblast, scrape, and brush surfaces to prepare for painting
- Repair surfaces to be painted including plastering & Sheetrock finishing
- Erect scaffolding, movable & immovable staging, and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas
- Move furniture & equipment as necessary
- Mix and match paint
- Requisition materials & supplies from the stockroom
- Waterproof surfaces
- Set glass & apply putty
- Occasionally hang wallpaper
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of preparing surfaces for painting & finishing
- Ability to erect scaffolding and movable & immovable staging areas
