About the position

The Full-Time Painter position at Rent Pro PDX involves providing high-quality painting services for residential properties in the Greater Portland Metro Area. The role requires a skilled individual who can prepare surfaces, apply paint, and ensure safety protocols are followed while working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for interior and exterior painting by taping, scraping, sanding, patching, and mudding.
• Paint cabinetry and install sheetrock.
• Apply primer and paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes.
• Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage with drop cloths or masking tape.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Timely completion of daily paperwork.
• Efficiently use G-mail and Google calendar on a smart phone.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of interior/exterior painting experience.
• Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in caulking, patching, texturizing, and mudding.
• Experience painting cabinetry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic repairs and maintenance experience preferred.
• Must provide painting tools and a ladder.
• Must have a driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must provide professional references.
