About the position

Empire Coating Inc is seeking a Painter's Apprentice to support production operations. This role provides an opportunity for career advancement and professional growth while working closely with the Leadership Team. The apprentice will be involved in various tasks related to preparing parts, mixing paint, and maintaining equipment, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts by cleaning, sandblasting, and sanding.
• Mix paint per customer specifications.
• Document paint usage.
• Perform general cleaning of paint booths.
• Adhere to standard work, training guides, and procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Proficiently use industrial paint equipment and various hand tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of spray guns and related equipment.
• Report any inconsistencies or defects in material, product, or equipment.
• Foster a positive work environment by collaborating effectively with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
• Support the company in meeting its Quality & Safety objectives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
