About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for sorting pallets to grade using a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter. This role involves inspecting the quality of pallets, assigning grades, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment while adhering to Relogistics standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 50 - 70lbs.
• Comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment, sometimes under extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets to grade using a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter.
• Inspect the quality of all pallets and assign a grade.
• Remove trash and debris from the work area.
• Complete all production paperwork with accuracy.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On Site Manager.
• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights when applicable.
• Remove jambs and clear debris from stackers and conveyors.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions.
• Check to make sure loads are secure.
• Utilize yard management systems to coordinate trailer moves.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Achieve Relogistics results while maintaining Core Values and Safety Standards.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
