About the position
The Pallet Sorter position at Express Employment Professionals involves handling pallets in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. The role requires inspecting pallets for damage, sorting them for recycling or shipment, and involves lifting and moving heavy pallets throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Handle pallets by hand for 10-12 hour shifts.
- Inspect pallets for damage and sort accordingly.
- Store damaged pallets for recycling.
- Select undamaged pallets for shipment.
- Lift and move 50lb pallets repeatedly throughout the day.
Requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Physical capability to stand for up to 12 hour shifts.
- Experience in labor or warehousing (2 years preferred).
Nice-to-haves
- Forklift experience.
- Materials handling experience.
