The PAM Data Entry Clerk position is a critical role within the Investigation, Revenue, and Enforcement Administration (IREA) of the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA). This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of social services programs by accurately processing case transactions through the Paperless Alternate Module (PAM). The Centralized Data Entry (CDE) Unit, where this role is situated, is the sole program authorized to process case actions directly into the Welfare Management System (WMS) from PAM. As a PAM Data Entry Clerk, the individual will be tasked with reviewing and checking Turn Around Documents (TAD) for completeness, ensuring that data entries are accurate and timely. This includes correcting errors of omission or transposition and ensuring that all forms authorizing the payment of benefits are properly completed and approved. The role also involves maintaining a daily log of all assigned cases, scanning TADs for various offices, and returning documents to supervisors for further processing. The PAM Data Entry Clerk will play a vital role in resolving daily errors that may appear on the WINRO report, which is essential to prevent issues such as duplicate assistance or incorrect payments. Additionally, the clerk will be responsible for completing Fair Hearing Evidence Management System (FHEMS) hits using PAM, WMS, and physical documents to provide supervisors and managers with accurate updates on outstanding FHEMS cases. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
