About the position

The Panel Assembler - Warehouse Associate position at ManpowerGroup involves supporting the Manufacturing Department in the assembly of electrical panels. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration within the team to ensure high-quality assembly and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Stand and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of the assembly process.
  • Safely and effectively utilize hand and power tools, including wire strippers, pliers, and cordless drills.
  • Use measuring instruments (rulers, tape measures), pipe bending and threading equipment, and electrical testing tools as needed.
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures consistently.
  • Respond to requests from Mod Shop leaders and branch management regarding work habits and processes.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise directions.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical products and wiring is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematic drawings is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Excel) are required.
  • Previous experience in the electrical industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • General knowledge of electrical products.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with co-workers and meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for accurate job task completion.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
