About the position

The Team Member at Papa John's is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and cooking food efficiently, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. This role requires a friendly demeanor, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to upholding company standards in service and appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service by greeting customers with a friendly smile and prompt service.
  • Offer assistance and handle customer comments, complaints, or suggestions as instructed by management.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by recognizing regular customers and remembering their favorite items.
  • Achieve maximum productivity daily and assist other employees with questions and procedures.
  • Train new associates on store procedures as needed and delegate shift-related tasks.
  • Complete specific tasks assigned by the store supervisor or manager.
  • Observe shift operating hours and follow the posted work schedule.
  • Protect company assets by following control policies and procedures.
  • Prep, cook, and order food for both Krispy Krunchy Chicken and Papa John's Pizza.
  • Perform inventory counts as assigned by supervisors and complete daily shift checkout paperwork.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards inside and outside the facility and follow safety guidelines.
  • Report personnel situations, accidents, maintenance issues, and customer incidents to the store supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old to work.
  • Basic mathematical skills at the eighth-grade level.
  • Ability to speak, read, understand, and write English at the eighth-grade level.
  • Ability to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
  • Ability to resolve job-related problems professionally and set priorities for self and others.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to tolerate restaurant environments, including heat and food smells.
  • Ability to work in a cooler at temperatures of 30°F or below for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours and lift cases weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and reliably commute to work.
