The Payroll/AP Specialist at Papillion Foods is a crucial role responsible for executing payroll functions for all employees at the Papillion Plant. The specialist will also handle accounts payable, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded correctly. This role involves entering general ledger vouchers into the financial system and reconciling mechanical inventory to the general ledger, which is essential for maintaining accurate financial records. The Payroll/AP Specialist will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, providing a consistent work-life balance. Responsibilities

  • Execute Payroll functions for all employees at the Papillion Plant.
  • Process accounts payable.
  • Enter general ledger vouchers into financial system.
  • Reconcile mechanical inventory to general ledger.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Must be willing to work overtime.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have Highschool Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
  • 1 year of consistent work history in payroll or relevant experience.
