The ideal candidate will have a solid background in bankruptcy law, particularly in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, and will possess excellent organizational skills to manage the various aspects of our legal work. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal work in a dynamic environment, where you will assist attorneys in preparing legal and financial documents necessary for bankruptcy filings. As a Bankruptcy Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing and organizing case files and documentation, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date and accessible. You will also be required to communicate effectively with clients, courts, and other parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings, which is essential for maintaining the flow of information and ensuring that all parties are informed of any developments. Additionally, you will review and analyze financial documents and statements to assist in the preparation of cases. Coordination of meetings, hearings, and appointments for attorneys will also be part of your responsibilities, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with LEGAL-PRO bankruptcy filing software is a plus, although it is not a strict requirement. This role can be performed remotely or on-site, providing flexibility in your work environment.
