Responsibilities include summarizing medical files and discovery requests, drafting correspondence and pleadings, scheduling mediations, depositions, etc., and coordinating litigated files. The role requires proficiency in legal research, the ability to interview witnesses, and strong writing and communication skills. The candidate should also be able to prioritize tasks and work under tight schedules, ensuring accuracy in legal documents and forms.

Requirements

  • Paralegal certificate
  • Two years' experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in a litigation practice
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to perform legal research
  • In-depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles
  • Ability to prioritize and work under tight schedules
