About the position

As a Paralegal & Contracts Specialist at Soccer Forward, Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal support to the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel of our soccer organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of legal matters, including both transactional and litigation issues. You will be tasked with maintaining an organized system for tracking the status of contracts, agreements, and various legal documents, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact with U.S. Soccer and FIFA, facilitating communication and collaboration on legal matters. Your role will involve document review, template development, and contract process management, which are essential for the smooth operation of our legal department. You will also be responsible for legal drafting, which includes creating Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consent Letters, Consulting Agreements, Employment Agreements, and Independent Contractor Agreements. Additionally, you will manage aspects of Intellectual Property and oversee compliance audits to ensure adherence to legal standards and regulations. Candidates for this position must have a minimum of 24 months of experience as a Paralegal, specifically within a national soccer governing authority, to ensure familiarity with the unique legal landscape of the sports industry.

Responsibilities

Requirements
