About the position

Baptist Health is seeking a full-time Paralegal for Corporate Governance within the Legal Services team. This role involves providing paralegal support to the CEO and CLO, focusing on corporate governance and fiduciary responsibilities. The position requires high-level administrative support for the boards of directors, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and maintaining governance records.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support to the CEO and CLO on corporate governance matters.
• Coordinate board meetings and prepare agendas and minutes.
• Maintain governance records and documents.
• Communicate with board members and senior executives.
• Draft and review corporate documents and prepare board materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the board chair, governance committee chair, CEO, or CLO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Associate degree with 7 years of corporate governance paralegal experience is acceptable.
• 5-7 years of paralegal experience.
• Experience in corporate law.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Paralegal preferred.
