About the position

The Paralegal in Corporate & Investment Banking plays a crucial role in delivering corporate and legal services to the organization. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of legal concepts and the ability to perform substantive and procedural legal tasks that are typically associated with the work of a lawyer. The Paralegal will be responsible for organizing and supervising various processes and special projects as they arise, ensuring that all legal documentation and corporate compliance are maintained effectively. In this role, the Paralegal will draft, review, negotiate, advise on, and approve policies, procedures, contracts, and related documents that support business operations. This function is essential for promoting the company's objectives and interests, and the Paralegal will work closely with management to respond to routine matters and inquiries. Additionally, the Paralegal will monitor industry developments relevant to their functional area, conduct research, and gather necessary information to assist attorneys in preparing legal and corporate documentation. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently on various matters, showcasing strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to collect and analyze relevant information. The position requires proficiency in the MS Office suite and excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational, supervisory, and administrative abilities. The Paralegal will also be expected to engage in physical tasks occasionally, such as moving and lifting equipment to support onsite and offsite meetings.

Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
