This in-office position involves preparing estate planning documents, managing client communications, and ensuring the smooth completion of legal processes related to estate planning and probate. The role requires close collaboration with attorneys and clients to construct wills, trusts, and other necessary legal documents.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal documents for estate planning purposes, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information, explain legal procedures, and address any inquiries or issues related to estate planning.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on estate planning laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance in document preparation.
  • Manage and organize client files meticulously, ensuring all essential documents are accurately maintained and readily accessible.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys to review and finalize estate planning documents, making revisions as needed to meet legal standards.
  • Participate in client meetings, both in-person and virtually, to discuss estate planning options, review documents, and address client concerns.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification is a mandatory requirement for this position.
