About the position

The established law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment. This position requires a strong understanding of legal procedures and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Paralegal will be responsible for preparing and drafting various legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, discovery materials, record summaries, and subpoenas. Additionally, the role involves organizing files for discovery and trial, providing comprehensive case management from inception to resolution, and ensuring that all documentation is meticulously prepared and filed in accordance with state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a calm and professional demeanor while working under pressure, as well as record billable time accurately. Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail are essential for this role. The Paralegal will interact with clients, visitors, and attorneys/staff through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings. Familiarity with Relativity eDiscovery software is preferred but not mandatory, and experience with state and federal filing processes is highly desirable. This position offers a hybrid workstyle, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work, making it an attractive opportunity for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal preferred.
