About the position

The Paralegal will assist attorneys and practice groups in various types of legal matters, providing support in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing files and schedules. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes within the firm, and it can be based in the Boston, Dallas, Chicago, or New York office.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, summarize and index documents from various sources.
• Attend and participate in meetings and/or closings.
• Prepare documents and correspondence.
• Handle special projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a related area.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Organizational skills to work independently and meet deadlines in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.
• Ability to maintain daily accounting of time records and input timesheets into the system directly.
• Communication skills to interact with all levels of internal staff, attorneys, management, and external clients.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding daily work.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
