Additionally, you will conduct legal research, assist with administrative duties, and maintain organized files and records. Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and take accurate messages when individuals are unavailable.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents for filing and necessary correspondence.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all documents prepared.
  • Perform administrative duties including basic research, filing, mailings, and organizing files.
  • Conduct legal research for specific issues as assigned by attorneys.
  • Take messages and manage deliveries by courier or messenger.
  • Make copies and enter all billable hours into designated software.
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks requested by the Firm Management Team.

Requirements

  • Law firm experience preferred.
  • Domestic experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with PC programs.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior family law or litigation experience.
