About the position

Demco Law Firm, P.S., located in the Columbia City/Seward Park area of Seattle, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our busy litigation team. Our practice primarily focuses on real estate matters, business, and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various computer applications and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with expected hours ranging from 15 to 40 per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting attorneys in managing case files, preparing legal documents, and ensuring that all deadlines are met. You will work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and prioritization are essential. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. While prior legal assistant experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to grow their careers in the legal field. Candidates should have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with legal software such as Clio and QuickBooks Online. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least two years of administrative and legal assistant experience.
