Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of legal documents related to estate planning, elder law, probate, and Title 19 cases.
  • Conduct legal research, gather and analyze relevant information to support case development.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met with sensitivity and care.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support the team in managing deadlines, court filings, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a paralegal, particularly in estate planning, elder law, probate, or Title 19.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client care and empathy.
  • A selfless, empathetic, and compassionate attitude towards clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal software and tools is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish
