Drafting and proofreading legal documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars, which are vital for the smooth operation of our legal practice. Collaboration with legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys will be essential to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.

Requirements

  • Preferred prior work experience in legal field.
  • Strong knowledge of law and legal procedures.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Experience with project management techniques and tools.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities.
