About the position

Roy H. Binder & Associates is a small law firm located in Wayne, NJ, known for its low turnover and supportive office structure. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys with a variety of legal tasks, including document management, research, and client communication. As a Paralegal Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to our attorneys. This includes answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing various office tasks. You will assist with document preparation, which involves drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and ensuring that all documents are accurate and complete. Additionally, you will support our attorneys in drafting pleadings and other related documents, as well as preparing legal documents and communicating with clients. A key responsibility will be managing and maintaining our document management systems to ensure that all legal documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience working in a law office or a similar legal environment. Familiarity with document management systems and a strong understanding of legal document preparation are essential. Proven experience in various legal fields, including insurance claims, is highly desirable. Strong research and organizational skills, along with excellent communication skills, are critical for success in this role. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with a strong attention to detail and effective task prioritization, will be key attributes of the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office tasks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in a law office or similar legal environment.
