About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our small boutique law firm located in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Criminal, Family, and Civil law, with the ability to manage cases from inception to resolution. This role requires a proactive approach to legal support, ensuring that all documentation is prepared accurately and in a timely manner. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will work closely with attorneys to facilitate case management, conduct legal research, and assist in the preparation of legal documents. The position is full-time and requires in-person attendance at our office. As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining case files, drafting pleadings, and managing deadlines. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support throughout their legal proceedings. Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from start to finish in Criminal, Family, and Civil law.

  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and legal professionals.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation and case management.

Requirements

  • Paralegal Certificate is required.
  • Mid-level paralegal experience in Criminal, Family, and Civil law.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
