Responsibilities

  • Manage billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate production of bills.
  • Assess eligibility of corporate employees for U.S. visa status and prepare complex immigration petitions.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and handle acquisition and financing of commercial properties.
  • Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents related to corporate law.
  • Assist in the production of marketing materials and support marketing initiatives.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate outsourcing agreements and technology-focused commercial arrangements.
  • Prepare and manage estate planning documents and client communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of employment-based immigration experience.
  • 3-4 years of litigation experience in a leading law firm.
  • Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
  • 3-6 years of law firm experience in corporate law, particularly in M&A and venture capital.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with immigration/work authorization compliance and due diligence review.
  • Clerkship experience in a legal setting.
  • Familiarity with data privacy issues and compliance policies.
  • LLM in estate planning or tax.
