About the position

The Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys handling personal injury cases, specifically in the area of medical malpractice. This role involves managing cases from inception to resolution, ensuring accuracy and professionalism throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of medical malpractice cases from beginning to end.
• Gather, analyze, and research information.
• Communicate and correspond with clients, providers, and others in the legal community.
• Maintain client files.
• Request bills and medical records.
• Prepare various legal documents, including demands.
• Exercise sound judgment and work independently.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.

Requirements

• Medical Malpractice Litigation experience is a MUST (as a Paralegal).
• Proficiency with case management systems.
• Proficiency with computers, telephone lines, and other related office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to follow instructions, switch tasks quickly, and meet hard deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning and reporting skills.
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
