As a Paralegal at Sobo & Sobo, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of legal proceedings. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, assisting in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, and investigating facts to aid in the negotiation of legal disputes. Additionally, you will monitor compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain accurate records of client information. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and are eager to contribute to a firm that values its employees and clients alike.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall support to attorneys.
  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
  • Assist with the drafting/reviewing of legal documents.
  • Investigate facts to assist with the negotiation of legal disputes.
  • Monitor/ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Record/store client information.

Requirements

  • Paralegal Degree/Certification preferred but open to entry-level applicants with a demonstrated interest in the legal profession.
  • Familiarity with legal research.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented team player with a positive attitude.
  • 3 years of office or clerical work experience.
