As a Paralegal at our dynamic and reputable law firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals and ensuring the highest quality legal services for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting legal research to support case preparation, assisting attorneys in drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings, and organizing and maintaining legal files and documentation. You will also assist in case management and trial preparation, communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, and prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies. Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to our practice areas will be essential, as will performing administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and managing attorney calendars. Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
  • Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field (preferred).
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the practice area(s) of the firm.
