As part of this commitment, we are excited to announce an opening for a Paralegal Support Officer in our Amsterdam office. This position is integral to our Paralegal team, which is known for its dynamic approach to law-related activities across various business teams within the organization. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Paralegal team by handling a wide range of legal administrative tasks and document processing services. The Paralegal team acts as a crucial link within the organization, preparing legal documents and managing contracts while collaborating with key internal stakeholders, including the Onboarding Team, Compliance department, and operational teams in legal and accounting. You will also interact with clients to ensure the completion and execution of necessary documentation, making your role vital to the smooth operation of our legal processes. You will primarily work from our Amsterdam office, with the flexibility to work remotely as discussed with your manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our legal operations, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our services while being part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Paralegal team by providing all aspects of general administrative matters.
  • Assist with file transfers and handle legal documentation by arranging wet signatures and signatures via Docusign, including coordinating and scheduling courier services.
  • Handle various ad hoc filing requests and correspondence.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks based on workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Administrative experience as a (legal) secretary.
  • Experience working in a corporate law environment is preferred.
  • MBO4+ or equivalent experience.
