This position is integral to the administration of estates, preparing gift and estate tax returns, and contributing to various team projects. The ideal candidate will possess prior paralegal experience specifically in wealth and estate planning, demonstrating a strong understanding of the legal aspects involved in this field. The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as the paralegal will need to interact effectively with clients and team members. Candidates must be capable of working independently on multiple outstanding matters, showcasing excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A substantive understanding of legal documentation and processes related to estate planning is essential for success in this position. The work environment is primarily sedentary, requiring effective communication skills, including speech, vision, and hearing. The position also necessitates the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations, along with occasional bending, squatting, and reaching. Candidates should be able to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights as needed. The role may require working more than the standard 37.5 hours per week to fulfill essential duties, and the salary is negotiable based on experience, accompanied by an attractive benefits package.
