About the position

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, PA is looking to hire a full-time Paralegal to join us at our personal injury law office, specifically in our Litigation department. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys, managing the day-to-day tasks for our litigation cases from inception to settlement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Your role will involve drafting discovery documents, preparing for trial, and ensuring that both our clients and attorneys are satisfied with the progress of their cases. Responsibilities

  • Drafting discovery documents for litigation cases.
  • Preparing for trial by organizing case files and evidence.
  • Maintaining communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.

  • Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively under deadlines.
  • Ensuring compliance with law firm policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Paralegal in a law firm.
  • Experience with Personal Injury law on either the Plaintiffs or Defense side.
  • Excellent computer and typing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment.
  • Familiarity with trial preparation processes.
