The Workers' Compensation Paralegal position at Sanders Rainmaker, Inc. involves supporting a plaintiff workers' compensation firm by managing various legal tasks related to workers' compensation cases. The role requires a paralegal with a minimum of 4 years of stable experience in workers' compensation law, either on the plaintiff or defense side. This hybrid position allows for one day in the office and offers a competitive salary along with a retirement plan contribution after three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule pre-hearings conferences with Judges
• Conduct periodic review and evaluation of claim status
• Maintain contact with clients to ascertain medical and employment status
• Schedule various appointments including phone conferences, depositions and mediations
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, adjusters, judges and doctors by phone and/or email
• Communicate with treating physicians to coordinate medical case and determine treatment status
• Organize the calendar and notify all parties of scheduled appointments

Requirements

• At least 4 years of stable experience in workers' compensation law (either plaintiff or defense)
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients, attorneys, and medical professionals
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
