About the position

The Paralegal position at Robert Half involves managing the commercial lease renewal process for one of the largest retail landlords in the United States. This role requires a strong understanding of lease agreements and compliance with legal standards, as well as effective communication with tenants and property managers. The position offers an opportunity to learn directly from the General Counsel in a fully in-person setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial lease renewal process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating renewal agreements.
• Ensure all lease agreements comply with local, state, and federal laws.
• Communicate with tenants and property managers to clarify lease terms and conditions for renewals.
• Maintain accurate records of commercial lease agreements, including tracking renewal deadlines and terms.
• Assist in legal research, risk assessment, and dispute resolution related to lease terms and renewals.

Requirements

• College Degree
• 2+ years of experience handling commercial lease renewals is required.
• Full comprehension of the external environment's impact on corporate leasing agreements.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Sound judgment and strong analytical skills for evaluating lease agreements and legal situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
