Position Summary: As a Paralegal at Spanish Trail Country Club, you will play a crucial role in assisting our ownership team with various tasks related to club governance, contracts, and compliance. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can handle legal documentation and research with accuracy and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring that all legal processes are followed and that the club operates within the legal framework. Key Responsibilities: Legal Research & Documentation: Assist in researching and drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policy statements. Conduct legal research as needed to support the ownership team. Contract Management: Review, edit, and manage contracts and agreements with vendors, members, and other stakeholders. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and documented. Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations affecting the country club. Assist in preparing reports and documentation for compliance purposes. Member Relations: Address member inquiries related to legal matters, including membership agreements and disputes. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a corporate or country club environment is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong sense of professionalism and discretion.
