About the position

The Senior Paralegal at Bush & Bush Law Group is a critical role that involves leading and enhancing the paralegal team while providing direct support for litigation efforts. This position requires advanced legal drafting skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to independently develop comprehensive legal documents. The Senior Paralegal will supervise and mentor junior paralegals, manage discovery processes, and ensure the timely submission of legal documents in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop foreign paralegal staff to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Independently propound and respond to discovery requests, developing tailored strategies based on case specifics.
• Prepare precise jury charges and draft related legal documents such as petitions and complaints.
• Draft comprehensive petitions, pleadings, and complaints for state and federal court cases.
• Review and analyze discovery records, drafting motions to compel as necessary.
• Monitor and adhere to court deadlines, ensuring timely submission of legal documents.
• Assemble trial binders and prepare materials for court proceedings.
• Draft legal motions with clear articulation of legal arguments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience, particularly in complex litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to independently draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Proficient in crafting jury charges and aligning legal documents with case elements.
• Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to train, supervise, and inspire a team of junior and foreign paralegals.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
