Pacific Cascade Legal is seeking a full-time experienced Paralegal to join our Oregon Team, specializing in Estate Planning and Family Law. As a Paralegal at Pacific Cascade Legal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys throughout all phases of legal cases, ensuring workflow efficiency and contributing to the overall success of our firm. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of families across the Pacific Northwest, helping them navigate complex legal matters with compassion and expertise. In this role, you will engage with clients in a strategic and meaningful manner, ensuring that their needs are met and that they feel prioritized throughout their legal journey. Your responsibilities will include corresponding with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, gathering necessary information, and relaying messages to attorneys as needed. You will also conduct legal research and writing, draft and sign legal documents, schedule appointments and hearings, and maintain organized client files. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and drafting correspondence to and from other attorneys, as well as overseeing discovery processes. To succeed in this position, you must possess a proactive, goal-oriented mindset and be adaptable to the dynamic nature of legal work. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. You will be expected to maintain a fast-paced work ethic, meet tight deadlines, and contribute to the firm's billing goals. Responsibilities

  • Engaging clients in a strategic and meaningful way
  • Corresponding with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of Paralegal experience
  • Experience in Washington Estate Planning and Family Law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Impeccable organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, resourceful, and driven
  • Team player mentality
